Austin runs f2a architecture, which offers design consultation and construction services for residential, commercial, and multi-unit projects. Growing up in a house renovation gave him an innate understanding of construction, with later experience in rammed earth construction, planning for panelized prefabrication, mass timber, timber framing, architecture and general contracting out of a shop-studio in Nelson, bc. His passion lies in sustainable and locally-sourced materials, working towards self-sufficiency and craft in housing.

Austin is responsible for schematic design, legal analysis + business management.

John Rousseau
summerland, bc

John runs the Rousseau Design Collective from his home and shop-studio in Summerland, BC. He is an innovative industrial designer, building designer, and master jointer with a focus on bespoke millwork and luxury residential buildings created with local timber. His background in tile work, guitar building, and furniture design informs his current processes for streamlined window + door production, and large structure prefabrication.

John is responsible for fabrication means, methods + craft quality control.
